  • Fertile leaves only in favorable conditions

  • Woods on acidic soils, wet slopes, up to 2000 m in altitude
  • Rare in Vercors : associated with sandy soils ( miocene mollasse): St Julien-en-Vercors, Les Ecouges, Gobert trail.
